School Profile

The school was established in 1981 as the first special school under the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (TWGHs) catering for children with moderate intellectual disabilities. It was formerly known as TWGHs Kai Chi School.

In 1986, the Education Department allocated a vacated primary school premises in Wah Fu Estate for the expansion of the school. After four years of renovation and preparation, the school officially relocated to its current site in 1990. To commemorate the generous donation of HK$1 million by the late Mr. Tsui Tsin-tong, JP, former Chairman of TWGHs, for the renovation of the school premises. To thank Mr. Tsui for his generosity, the school was renamed as TWGHs Tsui Tsin Tong School.
