TWGHs Special Schools Parent-Child Guilin Cultural and Art Tour 2026

From October 13 to 16, 2026, our school organized a four-day, three-night "TWGHs Special Schools Parent-Child Guilin Cultural and Art Tour 2026." Led by the Principal, the delegation included 2 staff members, 5 students, and 5 parents. We were deeply honored to have Ms. Kwong Mei-sze, Senior Education Officer (Kindergarten and Special Education Division) of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, join us on the tour to provide guidance and lead visits to various local attractions and schools. Through sightseeing and participation in local workshops—such as visiting the Guilin Art Museum, chopstick-making, and osmanthus handicrafts—the tour sparked students' interest in traditional Chinese culture, deepening their understanding of it through artistic experiences and promoting cultural heritage. In addition to the enriching cultural exploration, a core highlight of the itinerary was our school's privilege of visiting the Guilin Qizhi School for exchange. Teachers and students from both places participated together in workshops and interactive activities, including making osmanthus handmade soap and shrink plastic crafts. By sharing teaching experiences and campus life with one another, this further fostered a close partnership between the two schools.
