Activities for learning about and experiencing Leisure and Cultural Services Department facilities in the community 2025/26

On April 22, 2026, our school successfully held the "Activities for learning about and experiencing Leisure and Cultural Services Department facilities in the community 2025/26." Jointly organized with the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), the initiative aimed at providing students with firsthand experience of community recreational resources while seamlessly aligning with their personal career and life development goals. On that day, a school delegation visited the Hong Kong Velodrome for an in-depth visit and a professional guided tour, which allowed students to gain a comprehensive understanding of the functions, purposes, and underlying operational models of this world-class recreational facility. In addition to the professional site exploration, students were given the exhilarating opportunity to experience the joy of cycling under proper safety guidelines. Alongside the magnificent cycling track of the velodrome, students not only immersed themselves in the high-energy atmosphere of professional sports but also broadened their horizons and enriched their knowledge through hands-on practice. The school envisions that this experiential learning journey beyond the classroom will effectively guide students to deepen their awareness of community resources. It is highly hoped that they will integrate a "positive and healthy" life attitude into their personal career planning, thereby laying a robust foundation for their future diverse endeavors and holistic development.
